The Partners in Quality Child Care Initiative (PQCCI) is a collaborative project of the San Francisco Department of Human Services (DHS), the Department of Children, Youth, and Their Families (DCYF), San Francisco State University (SFSU), Children's Council San Francisco, and other local child care groups designed to measure and facilitate improvement of the educational environment at child care centers in San Francisco. SFSU contracted with LFA to develop a Management Information System (MIS) for the purposes of maintaining the results of quality assessments conducted on participating Centers to evaluate changes over time in the quality of child care available to San Francisco children.
