LFA conducted focus group discussions in five California regions with professional financial advisors to market test print ad and brochure materials developed to encourage advisors to partner with community foundations.
In 2001, the League of California Community Foundations launched a Statewide Visibility Program to promote the distinct value and role of community foundations in California. LFA was contracted by the League to measure Visibility Program impacts related to how community foundations market themselves to professional (financial) advisors and how professional advisors' knowledge and perception of community foundations changed. The project includes a baseline and follow-up survey of a sample of 10,000 professional advisors as well as surveying and interviewing community foundation representatives in order to measure changes in knowledge, perceptions and behaviors.
LFA provides evaluation technical assistance to staff of the League of California Community Foundations (LCCF) in their work to build the capacity of community foundations in California.
