LFA conducted a statewide assessment of interest in volunteering and community service among California seniors ages 50-75 years. The findings of this study were used by California Governor Gray Davis to make policy and funding decisions for programs geared towards involving seniors in volunteer work in general, and inter-generational service in particular.
