In an effort designed to understand, support, and enhance the Santa Cruz County (SCC) nonprofit sector, Community Foundation Santa Cruz County (CFSCC) commissioned the 2005 Santa Cruz County Nonprofit Landscape Study. To fulfill its mission, it is incumbent upon CFSCC to have a clear, accurate, and current understanding of the issues and trends facing their constituents. Specifically, the 2005 Santa Cruz County Nonprofit Landscape Study: provides a current profile of nonprofit organizations in the County; describes the array of services available; documents the impact and influence of the sector on the Santa Cruz County economy; and surfaces areas of current need for nonprofit organizational capacity-building support.
