AIDS Project East Bay (APEB) and Casa Segura have teamed up to open a clinic in East Oakland with the goal of bringing into care people living with HIV/AIDS who are newly diagnosed; have never gotten into care; or who are lost to follow-up. LFA and JDC Partnerships (JDCP) are providing evaluation technical assistance to the Evaluation Design Team, composed of APEB and Casa Segura staff, with the goal of building an evaluation system and process for this innovative project to reach and retain out-of-care people living with HIV/AIDS. Through a series of meetings with the Evaluation Design team and other appropriate staff, LFA and JDCP will provide technical assistance to build the team’s capacity to develop and implement an appropriate evaluation system. Specifically, the meetings will cover three stages of development: focusing the evaluation, conducting the evaluation, and organizational learning.
