Alan is a Principal of Community Planning and Research, LLC (CPR), a full-service evaluation, applied research and strategic planning consulting firm dedicated to supporting community-based organizations, charitable foundations and other grantmakers, membership associations and other public benefit entities.
Jara Dean-Coffey is Principal of JDC Partnerships with 10+ years of experience working with public and private sector organizations in developing and implementing strategic planning and evaluation activities that reflect resource limitations, consider both quantitative and qualitative data, and inform real time decision-making. Ms. Dean-Coffey has extensive health and social service content expertise including maternal and child health, early child development, teenage pregnancy prevention, youth development, aging, community organizing and development, health education strategies, access to care and issues of diverse populations. Ms.Dean-Coffey's past and current clients include the California HealthCare Foundation, the Hewlett NII Project, David and Lucille Packard Foundation, First 5 Commissions in Marin, Solano, Fresno and Sacramento as well as a public agencies around the state. Ms. Dean-Coffey holds a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in Political Science and Communications and a Master's in Public Health from University of California, Berkeley.
