About This Position
We are currently conducting a search for a talented, organized and experienced Associate Consultant to participate in a diverse array of evaluation, research, and strategic planning projects. This is a rare opportunity to interact and work with a high-performing group of people committed to social justice.
Position responsibilities:
The Associate Consultant will participate on project teams, with an expectation of serving as the project manager for some projects. Specific project management tasks include: client communication and management; team management and coaching; leadership for team meetings; and monthly budget tracking. Project-related tasks include: preparing survey, interview, and focus group instruments; conducting interviews and focus groups; facilitating meetings; conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis; and writing reports.
Required qualifications:
Master’s degree in a social science;
Program evaluation and research experience in a professional or academic setting;
Experience in the nonprofit, philanthropic, and/or public sectors;
Demonstrated strong organizational skills;
Ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
Strong capacity to manage multiple tasks and multiple projects;
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and
High proficiency in statistical analysis and SPSS software.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience providing organizational development consulting; and
Proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese.
